Im so glad you made me Radiate marks Alisons second collaboration with Benjamin Garretts choreography at the Australian Ballet. This piece explores the intersection of AI and sexual intimacy. Alisons artistic interpretation of sound in this interdisciplinary work combines movement, emotional narrative, and sonic exploration, elevating the medium of electro-acoustic music in dance to a new level where emotions take centre stage and immerse the audience in the story. Alisons compositional canon spans the human experience by exploring melody, timbre, and the acousmatic possibilities of site sound, sound design, synthesis, and acoustic instrumentation. This seminal work broadens the musical and sound vocabulary previously examined in ballet into new and exciting realms where interdisciplinary collaborations flourish in complete symbiosis.
