For activity undertaken in a regional area, utilising Australian repertoire to create a positive impact for the local community. A regional area is defined as Australian areas outside of capital cities.

Service to Albury (NSW) music community and education

Nominator Statement
James has been an integral member of the St Matthew's Music Association in Albury which has supported students in the area with scholarships for music education. He has generously donated his time and expertise to be the recitals convener of the local Tunes on Tuesday program - fortnightly concerts held by scholarship holders and local musical talent (https://tunesontuesday.com.au/).

James' passion for music education - especially in the pipe organ and piano - has driven him to provide professional performance opportunities to students in the area.

In 2020, he received the Governor-General of Australia medal for service to the community, and he continues to demonstrate his commitment to the area as recitals convener for 2025.

James Flores is a most-deserving candidate for this award.
