I was one of the audience members at this packed out City Hall performance as a part of Brisbane Festival. The performance was moving, captivating and thouroughly entertaining. Vocalist and co-composer Pauline Maudy charmed the audience and took them of journey of self awareness, resilience and healing. She covered topics of disability, visability and overcoming hardship while simultaneously bringing the audentce hope, connection and joy. The Black Square quartet were flawless and the intricate arrangements provided an emotional backdrop to the powerful lyrics. This work deserves to be seen and heard by all and was by far the highlight of my Brisbane Festival. Bravo Pauline and Rob!
