Nominator Statement
Spectra Jazz Orchestra is a highly successful and important education program that is supporting the next generation of musicians. Spectra Jazz Orchestra has been a significant 'launchpad' and education experience for a plethora of emerging, creative musicians in Sydney. Spectra fosters a supportive, connected environment that creates meaningful pathways into Australia's music ecosystem for all involved. Importantly, Spectra champions Australian jazz and improvised music.
