A work is defined as a single complete musical composition, or expression. This includes music with movements or sub-works (i.e. song cycles), installations, and real-time compositions (improvised music).

The Story of Janshah by Tristan Coelho is a captivating chamber work that masterfully weaves intricate textures and dynamic storytelling through its unique instrumentation. Commissioned by Inventi Ensemble, the piece showcases Coelhos signature rhythmic vitality and expressive depth. Its premiere in Colac, VIC, where I was present, and the live recording by Inventi Ensemble highlight its brilliance, affirming its place as a standout contribution to Australian art music.
